Myrna Bindewald
Meet Myrna
Myrna Bindewald combines a background in theatre with a strong physical presence and a curiosity for characters that go beyond the obvious.
Born in Sonthofen, southern Germany, Myrna discovered the stage early on, performing in children’s and youth theatre productions in Kempten. She later moved to Berlin, trained at the Fritz-Kirchhoff-Schule and joined the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in 2026, where she studies contemporary puppetry, with acting also playing a major role in her training.
Moving between stage and screen, Myrna Bindewald has appeared in theatre productions including Yard Girl, Twelfth Night and It Won’t Take More Than a Week. Her film work ranges from the short films Chrysalis, Johnny Martha and Lilu to the feature film Ach, diese Lücke, diese entsetzliche Lücke.
With skills in stage combat, fencing, karate, acrobatics, singing, piano and pantomime, Myrna brings a distinctive physical dimension to her work. Her puppetry studies further inform her approach to movement, presence and storytelling.
